What to know
Choose regular polish when
You enjoy changing colors often, prefer traditional air drying, or want removal that can usually be done at home with standard polish remover.
Choose gel polish when
You want a harder, high-shine finish with no post-service drying time and are comfortable returning for professional removal.
Protect either finish
- Use cuticle oil and hand cream daily.
- Wear gloves around cleaning chemicals and prolonged water.
- Never peel gel polish from the nail plate.
- Tell us if your nails are thin, flexible, or previously damaged.
Important: Wear time varies with nail condition, lifestyle, length, and aftercare. Gel is durable, but it is not damage-proof and should be removed carefully.
